Mahjong 2D

The aim of the game is to clear the board by pairing up all the tiles. The matching pairs can be removed if they are side by side or if they can be virtually connected with no more than three connected lines. This imaginary line cannot pass through any other tile. Distance does not matter.
This is a sample view of tiles that can be removed (connected with green lines), and tiles that cannot be removed (red lines).
Like many solitaire games Mahjong 2D has some element of luck, but also you have to remember that there are 6 of each tile - matching the "wrong" two could make the game unsolvable!
The game has a time limit, wich is decresing each level. There is a time penalty also. If you select 2 tiles that cannot be removed your remaining time will be 10 seconds less.
Mahjong 2D (Shisen-Sho)
Mahjong 2D / Shisen-Sho is a single–layer tile matching puzzle. Clear ALL tiles by removing them in pairs.
Goal
Remove every tile before the timer reaches zero. Each new level starts with less time.
Removing tiles
Two identical tiles can be removed if they can be connected by a path consisting of no more than 3 straight segments (i.e. at most 2 turns). The path cannot pass through other tiles.
Valid paths
- Adjacent tiles (0 turns).
- 1 turn (L-shaped path).
- 2 turns (┐└ shape). More than two turns is not allowed.
- The path may run around the outside border if space is empty.
Levels & time
A wrong pair selection costs you 10 seconds. Completing a level loads a fresh layout with a lower initial time.
Game over
The game ends when time hits 0. Try again – different layouts and better ordering lead to success.
